How many treatment sessions are needed?
Most reputable laser clinics will stand behind their results; they will guarantee their results for two years after the treatment. They will give you free additional treatment sessions to achieve the result promised.
Some laser clinics with national affiliations will have you sign a binding contract (many pages drafted by the corporate office) to prevent you from getting any money back if the treatments are not successful and even if they offer a guarantee, I have heard from many patients, that they will find an excuse as a way out.
After all, in my opinion, locally owned laser clinics have more commitment to patient satisfaction than clinics run by corporate office located hundred of miles away. |

Are the results the same with all hair colors?
Dark hair with fair skin will have the best result, the reason is that the laser will target the melanin cells in order to destroy the hair follicles.
Some laser clinics will sell the patient a package of laser hair removal regardless of the hair color and they will tell the unsatisfied patient, after the treatment is completed, that there will be no refund since the patient has signed a contract stating that the results may vary.
In my practice, I discourage patients with blond or red hair from laser hair removal since I don’t believe that they will be satisfied with the results.
